2023 (Sophomore): Saw action in 22 games during his first year with the Yellow Jackets as one of the ACC’s top closers, earning the nickname “Scary Terry” … Finished the year with a 5.10 ERA, 1-2 record, and nine saves on 42.1 innings pitched … Recorded a 3.31 ERA in relief appearances … Led the team in saves and batters struck out at 58 … In his first 12 appearances, he had an 0.93 ERA, worked to a 34:11 strikeout-to-walk ratio, and held hitters to a .167 average … Recorded a 0.00 ERA in his first seven appearances … Made his debut against Miami (Ohio) (Feb. 17) coming in to close and earning his first collegiate save after striking out the side in the ninth …  Earned his nation-leading sixth save of the season against Notre Dame (March 10), working six hitless outs and fanning four to close … Earned his fifth save of the season, pitching six outs to close, five of which were strikeouts, against Georgia (March 5) … Surrendered one earned run on two hits with five strikeouts to close the game against then-No. 2 Louisville (March 17) … Threw two innings of no-hit baseball and struck out four to close and clinch the win against Clemson (March 25) in an 11-inning thriller, also securing his first win of the season … Closed the win against then-No. 13 UNC, throwing two hitless innings… Earned his seventh save of the season with six outs at Boston College (March 31) in the 5-4 win … Pitched 2.0 innings of no-hit ball for a hold against North Carolina (April 7) … Was moved to a starter for three-straight dates due to other injuries, starting at Virginia Tech (April 16), at Miami (April 23) and vs. Gardner-Webb (April 29) … Earned his eighth save with six outs and two strikeouts at Duke (May 12) … Earned his ninth save two days later on Sunday at Duke (May 14), pitching 3.0 innings and striking out four while allowing just two hits.

Before Tech: Played one year at John A. Logan junior college, helping lead them to winning a regional … Made 22 appearances out of the bullpen for the Vols … Finished with a 1-2 record with two saves in 27.1 innings, working to a 3.29 ERA and a whopping 44 strikeouts … Surrendered just 24 hits and 10 earned runs … Held opponents to a .235 batting average … Made 10 hitless appearances and 13 scoreless appearances overall … In 12 conference games, punched out 22 hitters in 11.2 innings, working to a 3.09 ERA … Allowed just 10 hits and four runs against conference opponents, holding them to a .244 batting average … Four-year letterwinner at Valparaiso High School … Also lettered two years in hockey (one as a captain) … Named salutatorian of his graduating class.
