 • 1st and 10 Organizational Overview

The Alexander-Tharpe Fund (A-T), the fundraising arm of the Georgia Tech Athletic Association, is offering a program for Georgia Tech students and young alumni called 1st and 10. Its purpose is to:

  • Assist the Athletic Association with fundraising and volunteer efforts
  • Serve as a means by which Georgia Tech young alumni and students may be active and involved with the Athletic Association
  • Provide the Athletic Association access to young alumni and student athletic insight and support
  • Provide social and networking activities for members

This program will allow you to stay connected to Georgia Tech athletics throughout school and after graduation. Also, it will enable you to acquire priority points at an accelerated rate when you make a gift to the A-T Fund.

Why I Need Priority Points
More priority points will allow you to obtain better seating for all GTAA events, including season tickets to football and basketball. For more information, click on the link below:

About A-T
The primary purpose of the Alexander-Tharpe Fund is to raise the money necessary to pay for the scholarships of our student-athletes at Georgia Tech. Our goal is to raise enough money in unrestricted annual giving to cover the cost of the total allotment of student-athlete scholarships currently allowed by the NCAA.
