WOMEN'S BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL ON WREK-RADIO

The 2001-2002 season marks the 19th consecutive year of play-by-play coverage of Georgia Tech baseball and women's basketball by campus radio station WREK (91.1 FM).

WREK serves Metro Atlanta with a 40,000 watt signal and supplements its coverage worldwide via streaming audio (wrek.org). In Nov. 1994, WREK broke ground by becoming the first station in the world to stream play-by-play sports on the Internet.

Tech graduates Richard Musterer and Kurt Hoyt describe the women's basketball action while Tech students Ben Sussman and Jerry Wible lead WREK's baseball broadcast crew. In addition, veteran announcers Wes Durham, Randy Carroll, Richard Musterer and Gray Saunders will once again join the WREK broadcast team for selected baseball games during the 2002 season.
