Chad Peachey joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association as the external events coordinator in November 2015.

Peachey coordinate external events for all athletic facilities, serves as the event manager during execution of all external rentals, and responds to event requests from all potential clients. He also organizes the events schedule based upon best fit and availability, manages tear-down and set-up for all events, and coordinates with all departments required for each event.

He also assists with home intercollegiate events including Georgia Tech football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball, swimming & diving, tennis and track & field, as well as the aid in the planning, coordination, and execution of ACC Conference Tournaments and NCAA National Championships held on the campus of Georgia Tech.

A member of the Georgia Institute of Technology Events Logistic Committee, he also assist with the planning of all campus events on campus.

Prior to coming to The Flats, Peachey served as the events manager for camps and special events at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado (2014-15) where he organized all facility usage and transportation scheduling for sports camps, managed all social media for the sports camps including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Yelp, answered calls from potential campers and families, and supervised over 1,600 campers who stayed on campus in the dorms during the camp sessions.

He also served as a graduate assistant for the business serves and event management department in the Tulane University athletics department (2010-14) after interning in the marketing and sponsorship department for the Springfield Wolfpack in 2011.

Peachey, who was a three-time conference academic honor roll member as a student-athlete on the Missouri State football team from 2007-10, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in entertainment management with a marketing minor from Missouri State in 2011. He went on to earn his MBA from Tulane in 2014.
