Delvin Jones joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association staff as a senior accountant in February 2015.
Prior to Georgia Tech, Jones was the assistant business manager for travel at Georgia State from 2011-14. In that role, he coordinated team travel for all 16 varsity teams, including prospecting, bidding, and contract negotiations. He was also responsible for recruiting travel for coaches and potential student-athletes visiting the Atlanta campus.
Before moving to Atlanta, Jones worked for the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2010-11. He served in the operations and special events department. He also owns experience working with the Tulane football team as a volunteer assistant to the director of football operations in 2000. He was also an events and customer relations assistant from 2009-10 with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jones received his bachelor's degree in mass communications and public relations in 2006 from Xavier University of Louisiana. He earned his master's degree in sports management from LSU in 2010.
