Katie DeLost joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association in June 2017 as an athletic trainer intern in the sports medicine department. At Tech, she will be working with the cheerleading program and assisting with football.
She came to The Flats after serving as an athletic training graduate assistant the last two years at Utah State University where she worked with the football and women's tennis teams. She also worked a number of multi-day summer camps for the gymnastics, baseball and football programs at Utah State.
DeLost also worked as an undergraduate with the Alabama football team from 2014-15 after working with the women's basketball, women's rowing and gymnastic teams from 2012-14.
She graduated from Alabama in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and then earned her master's degree in health and human movement from Utah State in 2017.
DeLost is NATABOC certified and has her American Red Cross CPR/AED certification.
