Grant Field 100th Celebration

Georgia Tech to celebrate 100 years on Grant Field during the Virginia Tech game on Thursday, September 26. Game to be a student-sponsored White Out and feature a halftime fireworks show.


Game Information

Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and be nationally televised on ESPN. Fans are being asked to arrive early, dressed in their white, to cheer on the Yellow Jackets!

Parking Information

Georgia Tech parking lots will open at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 to accomodate fans. For more information and to purchase single-game parking passes, click here.

White Out

The Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech game is a student-sponsored White Out. All fans are encouraged to wear white to show their support for the Yellow Jackets. Stop by the Georgia Tech Bookstore or order your white t-shirt online

Throwback Jerseys

Georgia Tech will wear these throwback jerseys during the Virginia Tech game to commemorate Grant Field's 100th Anniversary. Fans can purchase replica throwback jerseys at the Georgia Tech Bookstore or Tailgaters Alley.

Entry Procedures/Security

In a continuing effort to enhance security at Bobby Dodd Stadium, the Georgia Tech Athletic Association and the Georgia Tech Police Department have announced stringent enforcement of its list of prohibited items for the 2013 football season. Learn more.

Georgia Tech All-Americans

Georgia Tech has invited All-Americans to be a part of the celebration. More than 35 All-Americans will lead the team down Yellow Jacket Alley before the game, meet & greet fans at Wreckfest and be recognized during half-time.


Halftime Fireworks Show

To celebrate 100 years on Grant Field, Georgia Tech will display a special fireworks show at the end of halftime.

Georgia Tech Football commemorates the 100th Anniversary of Grant Field with this 39mm minted coin flashed with 24KT gold that will be used for the Official Coin Toss at every home game! Each gold coin is individually numbered on the edge and will be delivered in a protective capsule displayed in a 3x5 inch etched acrylic plaque with a wood base and engraved nameplate. Only 5000 of these limited edition coins have been minted, and each is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
