2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in nine games, primarily as a backup to starting quarterback Justin Thomas … Made one start in place of Thomas at No. 18 Virginia Tech (Nov. 12) … Leading an offense that had four starters out of the lineup, Jordan ran 32 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns (all career highs) to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 30-20 victory at VT … His 32 carries against the Hokies were the most by a Georgia Tech player since Tevin Washington also toted the ball 32 times versus Maryland on Oct. 8, 2011 and tied for the 19th-most single-game rushes in program history … Also completed two passes for 34 yards in the triumph … Despite seeing limited playing time outside of the Virginia Tech game, Jordan ranked second on the team and was tied for 16th in the ACC with six rushing touchdowns, due mainly to him often being inserted at quarterback in goal-line situations … For the season, he rushed 65 times for 243 yards and six touchdowns and completed 3-of-9 passes for 111 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
