Jackets Roll Past Charleston In Opener; Makinson Sets School Record
The men's and women's teams beat College of Charleston to open the season
Before Tech: Held club team records in the 50m breaststroke (33.53), the 800 free (9:03.53) and the 1,500m free (17:32.25) -- all long course meters... Also set her club's short course meters record in the 1,500 free of 17:23.79... Was ranked in the top-10 for GPA in each of her four years in high school.
