2016-17 (Sophomore): Had a superb sophomore season, setting and re-setting her own records in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free events ... Set the Tech record in the 50 free (22.69), 100 free (48.63) and 200 free (1:45.71) at the 2017 ACC Championships ... Was also a member of four record setting relay teams in the 200 free relay (1:30.73), 400 free relay (3:18.41), 800 free relay (7:08.87) and 400 medley relay (3:37.26) ... Also swam the final leg on the second-fastest 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.56 ... Led the Jackets with 22 top-10 finishes on the season, including eight first-place finishes ... Touched the wall in first-place in both the 50 free (23.59) and 150 free (1:20.25) in the half-double meet with Georgia Southern ... Posted a pair of first-place finishes in the 100 free (51.21) and 200 free (1:52.30) events at the double-dual meet at Boston College and Pitt ... Swam a career-best 50 free at the ACC Championships with a time of 22.90, the second-best time in Tech's history ... Anchored the record-breaking 200 medley relay unit with Maddie Paschal, Florina Ilie and Laura Branton ... Led off the record-breaking 800 free relay squad with Chiara Ruiu, Kira de Bruyn and Efrat Rotsztjen with an individual record time of 1:46.94 in the 200 free leg ... Before Tech: Attended Shenzhen Huaqiaocheng High School in Xiamen, China ... Participated in the 4x100 freestyle relay at the 2012 London Olympic Games, where her team finished fourth and set the Chinese record ... Won a gold medal in the 100 free at the 2011 China City Games ... Won the bronze medal at the 2012 Chinese National Championship (Olympic Trials) in the 100 free ... Won four medals at the 2012 Asian Swimming Championships ... Won two gold medals in the 4x100 and 4x200 relay events at the 2013 East Asian Games.
