2016-17 (Junior): Was one of three Jackets to compete at the 2017 NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships … Finished 29th overall in the 100 breast (53.04) and 41st in the 200 breast (1:58.76) at the national championship meet … Earned all-ACC honors with a second-place finish in the 200 breast (1:53.08) at the ACC Championships … Set the new school record in the 200 breast with a career-best time of 1:53.08 … Also turned in the top-time for Tech on the year in the 100 breast (52.91) and the 400 IM (3:51.07) … Recorded the second-fastest time on year for the Jackets in the 500 free (4:25.06) and the 1000 free (9:15.69) ... Also posted the third-best mark on the season for Tech in both the 200 free (1:38.41) and the 1650 free (16:04.18) … A member of the record setting 200 medley relay (1:25.76) and the 400 medley relay (3:07.86) units on the year, taking third-place overall in the 400 medley relay at the ACC Championships … Posted a total of 12 first-place finishes on the season … Registered wins in the 500 free (4:34.89), 1000 free (9:37.22) and 100 breast (55.64) at the double-dual meet versus BC and Pitt, as well as wins in the 1000 free (9:23.44), 100 breast (55.07) and 200 breast (1:57.89) events at the dual meet against Notre Dame … Touched the wall first in the 200 breast (1:53.88) at the Georgia Tech Invitational, the 200 breast (2:01.39) versus Cincinnati and FAU, and in the 200 breast (1:59.18) versus Alabama …Picked up three first-place finishes at the double-dual meet with SCAD and Florida State with wins in the 100 breast (54.81), 200 breast (1:59.18) and 1000 free (9:22.76) events … Finished the season with the third-best mark in the ACC in the 200 breast (1:53.08), eighth-best time in the 1000 free (9:15.69) and ninth-best time in the 100 breast (52.91) on the year.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Proved his versatility and value to the Jackets by racing in an impressive eight events on the season, including the 500 free, 1000 free, 1650 free, 100 breast, 200 breast, 100 IM, 200 IM and 400 IM … Qualified for the NCAA Championships at the GT Qualifier, but was forced to sit out due to illness … Rewrote his career-bests in the 500 free (4:24.72), 1000 free (9:15.90), 1650 free (15:09.15), 100 breast (54.37), 200 breast (1:54.95), 100 IM (53.21) and 200 IM (1:53.39) … A consistent contributor at dual meets, scoring in multiple events at every meet … Helped lead the 400 Medley relay team with Brian Woodbury, Ben Southern and Youssef Hammoud to a second-place finish at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Was a member of the sixth-place 400 medley relay unit at the ACC Championships with Rodrigo Correia, Youssef Hammoud and Noah Harasz with a time of 3:10.20, putting them second all-time in Tech’s history … Finished in fifth-place in the 1650 free at the ACC Championships with a time of 15:09.15, good for third in the all-time top-10 for the Jackets … Finished a career-best second-place in the 200 breast at the ACC Championships with a time of 1:54.95, breaking the school record before fellow teammate Alex Kimpel broke it a week later at the GT Qualifier.
2014-15 (Freshman): Joined the Yellow Jackets at winter semester break ... Made immediate contributions to the Yellow Jackets in the distance free and breast events ... Finished 12th overall at the ACC Championships in the 1,650 free with a season-best time of 15:15.12, which was the team's second-fastest of the season and the fifth-fastest time for the event in school history ... Was 24th in the ACC Championships in the 200 breast, turning in a season-best time of 1:58.61, which was the fifth-fastest in school history ... Placed third in the 500 free at the Yellow Jacket Championship Qualifier with a season-best time of 4:29.58 ... Also used the Qualifier to record a season-best 400 IM time of 3:57.41 ... Won the 200 breast event versus Darton with a time of 2:05.70.
