Kimpel Swims in 200 Breaststroke at National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –
Georgia Tech rising senior Alex Kimpel competed in the first of his three events on Wednesday at the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.

Kimpel touched the wall in a time of 2:21.87 in the 200 meter breaststroke to finish 50th overall in the morning session.

He will return to the water for competition tomorrow, June 29, to compete in the 50 meter breast, while on Friday, June 30, he is set to swim in the 100 meter breast event.
