*2015 Third Team All-ACC

Third Team All-ACC selection as a starting pitcher... A two-way standout for the Jackets' that pitched to a team-best 3.26 ERA and went 7-3 in 12 starts on the mound, while hitting .273 with three doubles, two triples, a homer and 11 RBI... He made 17 starts at third base, four as the designated hitter and two at first base... Five of his seven pitching wins came versus ACC foes... Made his collegiate debut on the mound with a two-inning relief stint in a win over Fordham on 2/14... Turned in a strong relief performance against Albany on 2/22 which included a then career high 5.1 innings and four strikeouts while allowing just two runs... Pitched brilliantly in his first career start versus Indiana State, taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning... Allowed just two base-runners in the game versus ISU and earned the win as the Jackets won 7-1 to complete the sweep... Was masterful again on Sunday versus Notre Dame in the rubber-game of the series, pitching an eight-inning shutout with five hits (all singles), a career-high seven strikeouts and no walks... Extended his streak without a run allowed to 22.0 innings with a dominant start at Duke on 3/15, working 7.0 innings with two hits allowed (both singles) and a career-high with nine strikeouts as Tech won the rubber-game 4-0... Extended his scoreless streak to 23 innings before allowing a run in the second inning of a start versus No. 18 North Carolina on 3/21... Would be on the hook for five runs (four coming on a fourth-inning grand slam) but did not factor in the decision as Tech scored the game’s final six runs and won 6-5 thanks to Thomas Smith’s walk-off single in the ninth... Picked up his fourth win at Virginia Tech on 4/5 as Tech spotted him an early lead and the bullpen held off a late rally by the Hokies... Gave the Jackets a gem in a key rubber-game versus No. 15 Virginia on 4/12, tossing seven three-hit innings, allowing just one runs with two walks and seven strikeouts... Pitched a career-long nine innings in the rubber-game versus Clemson on 4/26, allowing eight hits and three runs with one walk and seven strikeouts, but was not involved in the decision as Tech won a walk-off single from Ryan Peurifoy in the 10th... Tossed another impressive game versus Presbyterian on 5/3, scattering three hits and two runs over seven innings to improve to 6-2 as Tech earned the series sweep... Tech won another series with Gold on the mound in a rubber-game versus Pitt on 5/10, tossing six innings and allowing two unearned runs with five hits... Offensively, opened 2015 in grand style against St. John’s going 2-for-3 with a three-run home run in the first inning -- his first career blast... Notched second career three-hit game and scored the game-winning run from first on a sacrifice bunt and a throwing error in Tech’s 12-inning 7-6 victory over Ohio... Drew a walk in a ninth-inning, pinch-hit appearance and scored the tying run with two outs in the 7-6 extra-inning win against Kennesaw State on 3/17... Drilled a key two-run triple off the top of the center-field wall as a part of Tech’s eight-run rally to defeat Presbyterian 11-9 on 5/2.

Stepped right into the starting lineup as a rookie and played in 54 games and all 50 of his starts came at third base... Was rock solid defensively at the hot corner, committing just five errors for an impressive fielding percentage of .963... Contributed to Tech's school records for team fielding percentage (.974) and an NCAA-leading 77 double plays... Hit .246 on the season with 12 doubles and 16 RBI... Started at third and delivered an RBI ground out in his first career at bat on opening day... Had a big night at Georgia Southern on 2/19, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI, a run and triggering a double play... Was 3-for-11 with a double, an RBI and two runs in the UNCG series -- scored the winning run in Friday's win and drove in the winning run with a sac fly in Saturday's win... Had two hits and drove in a run versus Kennesaw State on 2/25 that extended his hitting streak to five games... After missing two games with a left wrist injury, returned to the lineup versus Miami on 3/15, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, two runs and matching his career-high of two doubles... Was 2-for-4 at Kennesaw State on 3/18 and scored a run in Tech's 8-7 win... His RBI double at Georgia State on 3/19 put the Jackets up for good in the sixth inning... Had a hit in each game of the Duke series and scored in each game... Was 2-for-3 with a walk in Tech's 5-1 win on 4/5 vs. Duke and scored the eventual winning run.... His single on 4/6 broke up Duke's perfect game bid and he eventually scored that inning as the game's only run in Tech's 1-0 victory that swept the series... Was 2-for-4 and matched his career high of two runs in the win over Georgia Southern on 4/8... ... Had three hits, two doubles, three RBI and scored twice in the series win over No. 1 Florida State... Was on base three times and scored a career-high three runs in Tech's 13-6 win in 12 innings at Maryland on 4/20... Singled to lead off the sixth inning and eventually scored Tech's only run in a 1-0 win at NC State on 4/25 thanks to Matt Gonzalez's RBI single... Doubled and drew a walk in the 2-0 win over Georgia at Turner Field on 5/13... Had four hits (two doubles) in the ACC tournament, including the go-ahead two-RBI single with outs in the eighth inning versus No. 16 Miami that broke a 3-3 tie en route to Tech's 6-3 victory...
