Came to Tech as one of the top prep middle infielders in the country ... Very athletic with plus actions and a very strong arm ... Is a sneaky power hitter... Has started 125 of Tech's 127 games over the last two seasons... Is expected to be Tech's Opening Day starting shortstop.

2012
Opened the season as Tech's starting shortstop, moved to second base for an 11-game stint and then settled back at short for the balance of the season... Started 62 games... Hit .266 for the season with solid power numbers - 11 doubles, seven home runs and 33 RBI... His seven homers were a career high and third-most on the club... His 10 stolen bases (in 14 attempts) were a career high and fourth on the team... Hit .304 over the final 31 games of the season with six of his doubles, five homers and 20 RBI... Went 5-for-11 (.454) with a double, a homer and three RBI in the Boston College series... Played error-free in 17 defensive chances as Tech turned six double plays in the BC series... Went 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored the go-ahead run in 6-4 win over Mercer (4/10)... Had two hits and drove in two runs in the 8-7 win at Wake Forest (4/14)...
