>> In the 355th all-time meeting between the rivals, Georgia Tech and Georgia square off Tuesday night at Turner Field in the annual Kauffman Tire Spring Classic for Kids, with the Yellow Jackets looking to even the season series.

>> The game is live on Fox Sports South with Dave Neal and Larry Conley calling the action. The broadcast can also be heard live on WREK 91.1 FM in Atlanta with Nolan Alexander and Will Long on the call.

>> Senior 1B Jake Davies is the reigning ACC Player of the Week, after hitting .533 (8-for-15) with nine RBI as the Jackets went 3-1 last week. Davies hit two monster homers at No. 6 North Carolina, including a two-run shot that tied the series-finale at 2-2 in the seventh and triggered Tech's 4-2 comeback win. Davies is on a 14-game hitting streak, and leads the ACC with 46 RBI.

>> A power surge from LF Brandon Thomas has the junior sixth in the ACC in batting average at .370. The Atlanta native had a game-winning RBI double in the eighth inning to beat Duke 1-0, a game-winning RBI single in the eighth to beat No. 6 UNC, 4-2, and ripped a game-tying RBI double in the ninth to force extra innings versus No. 2 FSU. He has four game-winning RBI in 2012.

>> Sophomore reliever Alex Cruz sports a 0.86 ERA in ACC play, which leads the conference, and was responsible for Tech's series clinching win at No. 6 UNC. Cruz (4-1, 1.13 ERA) has yielded just one run in his last 27 innings pitched.
