2017 ACC Baseball Championship Schedule Announced
Georgia Tech baseball will open up the 2017 ACC Baseball Championships on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – No. 10 Georgia Tech will open up the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship playing in the very first game of the week-long event on Tuesday morning, May 23, at 11 a.m. at Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, Kentucky.
As the No. 10 seed, the Jackets (27-26, 11-19 ACC) are joined in Pool C by No. 3 Wake Forest (38-17, 19-11 ACC) and No. 6 Miami (29-26, 16-13 ACC).
The Jackets first of two guaranteed games will be against the Miami Hurricanes in game one of the tournament on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Tech’s second game of pool play is set for Wednesday night, May 24, at 7 p.m. versus No. 3 Wake Forest.
The 2017 ACC Baseball Championship will feature a pool-play format, leading into a four-team, single-elimination bracket to determine the league champion. Each team in the four pools will play one game against each of the other two opponents in its pool Tuesday through Friday (May 23-26). The four teams with the best records within their respective pools will advance to Saturday’s semifinals at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., with the winners advancing to the ACC Championship game on Sunday at noon.
