  • 1B Nomar Garciaparra (.233) went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in his return to the Athletics' lineup.

  • SS Tyler Greene (.278) hit a solo home run in his only at-bat. See video.

  • Micah Owings (.292) struck out as a pinch-hitter.

  • 1B Mark Teixeira (.257) was 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a strikeout.

  • C Jason Varitek (.246) went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.


    In The Minors:

  • CF Charlie Blackmon (.293) was 1-for-3 with an HBP and a strikeout.

  • CF Brandon Boggs (.281) went 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk.
