Pitching coach Tom Kinkelaar will lead the White Team, while hitting coach Bryan Prince heads up the Gold Team in this year's event. Details for the annual White and Gold World Series are as follows (starting pitchers for each contest listed in parenthesis):

Sunday, Oct. 19 - White (Zach Von Tersch) vs. Gold (Deck McGuire), 1 p.m. first pitch
Monday, Oct. 20 - White (Brandon Cumpton) vs. Gold (Andrew Robinson), 3:45 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 22 - White (Taylor Wood) vs. Gold (Jed Bradley), 4 p.m.

All White and Gold World Series games are free and open to the public.

Two days later, the baseball team will kick off its annual Alumni Weekend with a golf outing for all former baseball alums. Any former Georgia Tech baseball player may take part in Friday's event by contacting director of baseball operations Nick Scherer at 404.894.2261 or nscherer@athletics.gatech.edu.

The Jackets have moved their annual Alumni Game to Sunday afternoon, with festivities scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. For the first time in the history of the event, the baseball alums will be taking part in an alumni softball game at Russ Chandler Stadium. The softball game will begin at approximately 12:45 p.m. and be preceded by a (baseball) home run derby. Food and drinks will be available for all baseball alums and their families immediately following the softball game to conclude the weekend festivities.

The Alumni Game is free and open to the public. Russ Chandler Stadium restrooms will be open, as will the concession stands.
