Rated 21st among the nation's seniors according to ESPN, Carter also ranked 7th among the nation's power forwards by ESPN.

Earned second-team all-state honors as a junior at class AA Thomasville High School, where he averaged 20.3 points, 14 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game for coach Ben Tillman ...
