> Led the nation and the ACC in field goal percentage heading into the NCAA Tournament, but fell below the required minimums on FG made ... Ranked fourth in the ACC rebound average (8.4 pg) and second in blocked shots (2.1 pg) ... Led all ACC freshmen in scoring, rebounding, double-doubles, blocked shots and field goal percentage.

> Excellent rebounder on the offensive glass, ranked fourth in the ACC with 3.0 per game ... Had NINE at Maryland, and put two of them back for baskets in the final minute of the last-second loss.
> Reached double-digits in points in 11 of his first 12 games, 10 times in ACC regular-season games and 27 times overall.
> Early foul trouble limited his effectiveness at times, but learned to play better defense without fouling late in the year ... Picked up two first-half fouls in 19 games (three at Duke), but fouled out only once (Ohio State).
> Called for one or zero first-half fouls in eight ACC games, including each of the last five ... Averaged 13.6 points and 8.5 rebounds in those eight games.
> Earned ACC Rookie of the Week honors four times this season, three times during conference play (Feb. 8 and 22, Jan. 25) ... Also named on Nov. 23 after averaging 14.0 points (17-for-21 FG) and 7.7 rebounds, with five blocks, in three games in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
High School
> One of the most decorated high school players ever to sign with Tech, rated as high as No. 1 among prep seniors in some recruiting services.
> Played four years, serving as team captain for three, for coach Michael Reddick at South Atlanta High School ... Led team to the AAA state championship in 2009.
> Made the McDonald's and Parade Magazine All-America teams, and was named the High School Player of the Year by Parade, USA Today, the Atlanta Tipoff Club and MaxPreps ... Named Mr. Basketball in the state of Georgia by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Atlanta Tipoff Club and earned first-team all-state honors four times.
> Averaged 28.1 points, 13.3 rebounds, 5.0 blocks, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game as a senior at South Atlanta ... Finished with career records in points (2,341), rebounds (1,511) and blocked shots (741).
> Earned MVP honors at both the McDonald's All-American game and the Jordan Brand Classic ... Also tabbed to play for the USA Junior National Select team that played in the Nike Hoop Summit.
> Led South Atlanta to a 27-3 record and a spot in the state playoffs as a junior.
