Georgia Tech-Syracuse Game Sells Out

Jan. 29, 2018

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s Atlantic Coast Conference game Wednesday night against Syracuse has sold out, the fourth game to sell out for the Yellow Jackets this season, matching the most ever for one season in the five-plus-season history of McCamish Pavilion. Tech’s game against the Orange is set for an 8 p.m. tipoff.

The sellout means the Yellow Jackets will play before full houses in four consecutive games – Jan. 18 vs. No. 2 Virginia, Jan. 28 vs. No. 18 Clemson, Wednesday night vs. Syracuse and Feb. 11 vs. No. 4 Duke – the first time that has happened since all 13 games of the 2007-08 season sold out at Alexander Memorial Coliseum. The most sellouts in a season for Tech since McCamish Pavilion opened is four in 2011-12, the Yellow Jackets’ first season in the building.

“We’re extremely grateful for the support our fans and our students have given us during these first two years of our rebuild effort,” said Tech coach Josh Pastner. “Their energy gives our team a huge lift and is a necessary part of the program we want to create at Georgia Tech.”

Single-game tickets are still available for the rest of Tech’s remaining home games, with fewer than 200 tickets still available for the Feb. 17 game against Virginia Tech.
