Solomon Poole Dismissed from Tech Basketball Team

THE FLATS – Solomon Poole has been dismissed from Georgia Tech’s basketball team due to “conduct and accountability issues,” head coach Brian Gregory announced Monday.

The 6-0 sophomore from Jacksonville, Fla., will remain enrolled at Tech and complete his academic requirements for the spring semester. Poole played in 14 games this season, starting five, and averaged 6.4 points and 2.0 assists. He has not played since Jan. 7 at Duke.
