Jackets in NYC -- Day 1

March 26, 2017

NEW YORK – After practicing Friday and Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia Tech traveled to New York City Sunday afternoon, checked into the Marriott Marquis in midtown Manhattan, where all four NIT final four teams will stay this week. The Yellow Jackets face CSU-Bakersfield (25-9) one of Tuesday’s semifinal games at Madison Square Garden. Game tips at 7 p.m., and will be televised on ESPN.

TCU (22-15) will play Central Florida (24-11) in the other semifinal at 9 p.m. Tuesday. The championship game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday. Both semifinal games and the championship will be televised on ESPN.

Monday, the Yellow Jackets are scheduled to have study hall in the hotel in the morning, and practice in the afternoon. In between, head coach Josh Pastner and a few of the Jackets will participate in a pre-tournament press conference at the Marriott Marquis.
