@GTMBK 2015-16 Season Tickets on Sale

June 10, 2015

THE FLATS – Season tickets are on sale for Georgia Tech men’s basketball’s fourth season in McCamish Pavilion, which will feature visits from defending NCAA champion Duke, NCAA Elite Eight teams Louisville and Notre Dame, and ACC regular-season champion Virginia among the Yellow Jackets’ nine home Atlantic Coast Conference games.

Season ticket packages start as low as $360, or only $20 per game. Purchasing season ticket guarantees patrons the lowest price per game for all 18 home games.

Georgia Tech is offering a lengthy list of new benefits to its season ticket holders for the 2015-16 season, including free credits toward Buzz Memories – the program that offers behind-the-scenes experiences at Yellow Jacket games, a free commemorative set of four 16-ounce glasses, complimentary guest tickets to select non-conference games, mobile ticket delivery and access to the inaugural GTAA Fantasy Camp – available exclusively for season-ticket holders. In addition, season-ticket holders may bring approved items into McCamish Pavilion with the season-ticket holder clear gameday tote. One tote will be provided for each season-ticket account.

Some benefits are restricted from the general public, so season-ticket holders are encouraged to purchase by the July 21 renewal deadline. A complete list of season-ticket holder benefits is available at TogetherWeSwarm.com, the official site for renewing or purchasing Georgia Tech basketball tickets. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 1-888-TECH -TIX.

Head coach Brian Gregory’s fifth Tech team returns three starters, including senior forward Marcus Georges-Hunt, the sixth-leading returning scorer in the ACC and promising sophomore scoring guard Tadric Jackson, as well as one of the top double-double practitioners in the ACC in senior forward Charles Mitchell. All told, 11 letterwinners are back, including six of the team’s top nine scorers.

The Jackets also welcome to their ranks the ACC’s top three-point shooter from last season, Adam Smith, who is transferring from Virginia Tech, and high-scoring forward Nick Jacobs, a transfer from Alabama who sat out the 2014-15 season.

Tech’s home ACC schedule for 2015-16 also includes NIT teams Miami, which reached the championship game, and Pittsburgh, as well as Clemson, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The Yellow Jackets’ non-conference slate will be announced later this summer.
