Hello, My Name is ... Patrick Lamar

THE FLATS –

Patrick Lamar joined the Yellow Jackets during the summer term in 2014. He was an all-state performer in high school who has been awarded an Army ROTC scholarship at Tech.

 

Lamar played four years for coach Brian Marks at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, helping lead BT to a region 6AAA runner-up finish his senior year (23-8 record). He was a first-team all-region 6AAA as a junior and senior, and was a second-team all-state honoree as a senior by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution . He was the second player in BT history to score 1,000 points in a career . Lamar also played two years of football (running back) and participated one year in track and field (100m, 200m, high jump). He made the honor roll every semester and was a member of the National Honor Society.

 

Lamar intends to major in Biomedical Engineering, and wants to become an Army medic.
