2009 (Junior)
Was a starter at defensive tackle before a knee injury... suffered the injury vs. Georgia (Nov. 28) and did not play the rest of the season... started 12 consecutive games before the injury... had 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and a quarterback hurry... enjoyed his best game of the season at Duke (Nov. 14), recording 3.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and five total tackles... recorded a tackle for loss at Vanderbilt (Oct. 31)... made a huge stop late in the win over Clemson (Sept. 10) when he tackled C.J. Spiller for a one-yard loss on 3rd-and-1 from the Tech three-yard line; the stop forced Clemson to kick a game-tying field goal early in the fourth quarter... had big shoes to fill as both 2008 starting tackles -- Darryl Richard and Vance Walker -- were taken in the NFL draft.

One of the top back-ups at defensive tackle... has played in every game, but one... both tackles were for loss, including one sack... had a tackle-for-loss vs. LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl (Dec. 31)... recorded a key sack -- his first career sack -- for a loss of 11 yards vs. Gardner-Webb (Oct. 11)... saw limited action playing behind a pair of senior starters... will be the most experienced defensive tackle returning in 2009.

2007 (Freshman)
Saw action in six games, including five of the last six contests of the regular season... credited with one solo tackle.
