Junior season ended prematurely when it was found that he had a displaced cervical vertebrae...had been penciled in to make his first start of the season at Georgia (Nov. 29) when the injury was discovered during a routine check-up on his shoulder... a starter in 2007 who served as a back-up at outside linebacker the first 11 games of 2008... got off to a slow start due to off-season shoulder surgery... had 13 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss and one sack in 2008... recorded a season-high five tackles and a sack against No. 23 Miami (Nov. 20)... produced two solo tackles and a tackle-for-loss at North Carolina (Nov. 8)... recorded one solo tackle against Florida State (Nov. 1), Gardner-Webb (Oct. 11), Duke (Oct. 4), Mississippi State (Sept. 20) and Boston College (Sept. 6)... made one tackle vs. Jacksonville State (Aug. 28) before suffering an injury to his quad...
