2016 (Sophomore): Started all 13 games at middle linebacker … Named ACC Linebacker of the Week following the Yellow Jackets’ 31-17 win over Virginia (Nov. 19) … Ranked fourth on the team with 71 total tackles, including three for loss, and tied for second on the squad with three takeaways (two interceptions and one fumble recovery) … Recorded at least three tackles in every game … Notched six stops in home opener against Mercer (Sept. 10) … Had a key pass breakup and fumble recovery at Pittsburgh (Oct. 8) … Went on a late-season tear, totaling 42 tackles over the final five games of the regular season … Late-season tear started with nine stops (seven solo) versus Duke (Oct. 29) … Tallied 10 tackles in 30-20 win at No. 18 Virginia Tech (Nov. 12) … Recorded a career-high 12 tackles and a final-minute interception en route to being named ACC Linebacker of the Week for his performance in home finale against Virginia (Nov. 19) … Had eight tackles and intercepted a pass on the final play of the game to seal the Jackets’ 28-27 win at Georgia (Nov. 26) ...
