A returning starter at offensive tackle after serving as a top back-up in 2012... a strong candidate to start at one of the tackle positions this fall... has a good understanding of the offense in his fourth year in the program.
2013 (sophomore): Played in 12 games and started seven times at right tackle... his seven starts came in the first seven games of the season... remained a top back-up the second half of the year... part of an offensive line that allowed just over one sack per game (1st in the ACC, tied for ninth nationally)... helped the offense rank sixth nationally in rushing.
2012 (redshirt freshman): Played in all 14 games... made one start -- vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)... helped the offense break school records for total rushing yards and total offense yards.
2011 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Monroe HS... played three seasons under coach Charles Truitt... served one year as team captain... saw action at offensive guard and tackle, and defensive tackle and end... named all-region and all-metro... played in the Georgia-Florida High School All-Star Game... also played two seasons of basketball as a center.
