A solid offensive lineman who gained a great deal of experience in 2012... one of several players competing for a starting job on a deep O-line... has a good understanding of the offense in his third year in the program.
2012 (redshirt freshman): Played in all 14 games... made one start -- vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)... helped the offense break school records for total rushing yards and total offense yards.
2011 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Monroe HS... played three seasons under coach Charles Truitt... served one year as team captain... saw action at offensive guard and tackle, and defensive tackle and end... named all-region and all-metro... played in the Georgia-Florida High School All-Star Game... also played two seasons of basketball as a center.
