2013 (senior): Played and started in all 13 games at defensive end... recorded three tackles in Tech's win at eventual ACC Coastal Division champion Duke (Sept. 14)... had three solo tackles and a forced fumble at Miami (Oct. 5)... registered a career-high seven tackles to go with a sack at Virginia (Oct. 26)... had a tackle for loss vs. Georgia (Nov. 30)... recorded three tackles and a pass break-up vs. Ole Miss in the Music City Bowl (Dec. 30).
2012 (junior): Played in all 14 games and started the first 12 games of the season... recorded 24 tackles, including 15 solo tackles... had 2.5 tackles for loss, including 2.0 sacks... registered three pass break-ups... caused and recovered fumbles... recorded a career-high five tackles to go with a half-tackle for loss in the season opener at Virginia Tech (Sept. 3)... had three solo tackles five days later vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)... recorded four tackles vs. Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 29)... had a big night in the ACC Championship Game vs. Florida State (Dec. 1)... recorded a sack, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble against the Seminoles.
2011 (sophomore): Played in all 13 games as the top back-up at defensive end... recorded 20 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and one quarterback hurry... had three tackles in the season opener vs. Western Carolina (Sept. 1)... recorded three tackles at Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 10)... had a sack in a win over North Carolina (Sept. 24)... recorded three solo tackles in a win vs. Maryland (Oct. 1)... registered a sack in a win over sixth-ranked Clemson (Oct. 29). 2010 (redshirt freshman): Played in nine games including each of the final eight games of the season.
2009 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: North Clayton HS... ranked #46 for his position by Scout, #23 by Rivals and #77 by ESPN... Atlanta Journal-Constitution and GHSA 4A honorable mention all-state... (AAAA) all-region first team and Atlanta Touchdown Club Lineman of the Week... ranked second on the team with 10 sacks and 18 tackles for loss as a senior... also had eight quarterback hurries, five pass blocks and 68 solo tackles... led North Clayton to a regional championship in 2008... as a junior, had 87 tackles and 9.5 sacks... played four seasons of football and served two seasons as team captain... earned three letters in basketball where he played forward and center... graduated in the top 20 of his senior class and made the academic honor roll.
