Defensive Continunity Is Key For Cross
The Jackets hope to make big strides in defensive coordinator Al Groh's third year
Has the ideal size and frame for Tech's 3-4 defense... built similar to former Yellow Jacket DE Michael Johnson, who now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals... hopes to make more of an impact this fall after seeing limited action in 2010... plays with outstanding effort and his lateral quickness and change of direction will improve as he fills out his frame and gets stronger... enrolled at Georgia Tech in January, 2009.
2010: Played in nine games including each of the final eight games of the season.

#77 by ESPN... Atlanta Journal-Constitution and GHSA 4A honorable mention all-state... (AAAA) all-region first team and Atlanta Touchdown Lineman of the Week... ranked second on the team with 10 sacks and 18 tackles for loss as a senior... also had eight quarterback hurries, five pass blocks and 68 solo tackles... led North Clayton to a regional championship in 2008... as a junior, had 87 tackles and 9.5 sacks... played four seasons of football and served two seasons as team captain... earned three letters on the basketball team where he played forward and center... graduated in the top 20 of his senior class and made the academic honor roll.
