Georgia Tech Overwhelms USC for 21-7 Sun Bowl Victory
A talented and versatile defensive back who is steadily climbing the depth chart and playing a more prominent role... should be a contributor on special teams in 2013... redshirted as a true freshman in 2011.
2012 (redshirt freshman): Played in 13 games as a back-up in the secondary, and on special teams... recorded five tackles on the season... had a solo tackle in the win over Virginia (Sept. 15)... recorded a solo tackle vs. Duke (Nov. 17)... had tackles in late-season games against ranked opponents, Georgia (Nov. 24) and Florida State (Dec. 1).
2011 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: West Rowan HS... played four years of football and served two seasons as team captain... led West Rowan to state championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010... earned all-state honors... played in the Shrine Bowl... led the county in interceptions for three straight seasons... made the academic honor roll and Dean's List... also played four seasons on the basketball team.
Personal: Parents are Edward and Angela Lindsay... born Jan. 15, 1993 in Washington, D.C... has two sisters and two brothers... majoring in nuclear and radiological engineering.
