Jesuit HS... played four seasons of football... played as a junior and senior under his father, James Harrell, who played in the NFL with Detroit and Kansas City... ranked as the No. 35 middle linebacker prospect nationally... recorded 115 tackles as senior... played linebacker and fullback... played at Plant HS in 2007 and 2008 before transferring to Jesuit... was on Plant's 4A state championship team in 2008... helped lead Jesuit to a district championship and an 11-1 record in 2010... named team MVP, all-county and all-Sun Coast as a senior... played in the Hillsborough County East-West All-Star Game... recorded 22 tackles in a game in the 2010 state playoffs... made the academic honor roll every semester.
