Fourteen Yellow Jackets got at least one carry Saturday night

A key part of the defensive line rotation who has battled nagging injuries... redshirted the 2011 season and spent the year rehabilitating an injury... played sparingly in 2012 while still rehabilitating from the injury.

2013 (sophomore): Played in eight games as a reserve on the defensive line... had five tackles, four solo tackles, a half-tackle for loss and one fumble recovery... recorded three tackles, two solo tackles and a half-tackle for loss at BYU (Oct. 12)... had tackles against Syracuse and Clemson... recovered a fumble vs. Alabama A&M (Nov. 23).

2012 (redshirt freshman): Played in three games, including a pair of ACC contests... saw action against Presbyterian (Sept. 8), Boston College (Oct. 20) and Maryland (Nov. 3)... recorded two tackles, including a sack in his first career game... first career action came against Presbyterian when he recorded a sack... registered a tackle in the win over Boston College.

2011 (true freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Lithonia HS... played for coach Marcus Jelks on both sides of the ball (offensive line, defensive line, linebacker)... earned three varsity letters... served one year as team captain... named MVP of the defensive line... earned all-state and all-district honors... played in the Dekalb County All-Star Game and the North and South All-Star Game... also played four seasons on the basketball team.
