Maryland made it too close for comfort, but Tech escapes 21-16
Saw action on the offensive line in 2010 as a reserve and could see additional playing time this fall... enters the fall as a top candidate to start at tackle... a former walk-on who joined the team in August, 2009.
2010 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in six games... played against South Carolina State, Virginia, Middle Tennessee State, Miami, Duke and Georgia.
2009 Redshirted as a true freshman.
High School Northview High School... played four years of football and wrestled for three years... on the honor roll for four years.
Personal Full name is Michael Tyler Kidney... parents are Mike and Lee... born Dec. 9, 1990 in Oak Harbor, Washington... previously lived in Shaker Heights (OH), Memphis and Dallas... has two siblings -- Tate and Clara... a management major.
