AT TECH: A talented veteran leader of the Georgia Tech secondary... earned honorable mention All-ACC honors in 2007, one year after earning first team All-ACC honors... a cerebral player who knew Jon Tenuta's scheme very well... spent time during his career at the cornerback position as well... had four career interceptions... was in the starting lineup for 27 consecutive games... played in 51 career games.

2007: Honorable mention All-ACC... started all 13 games at strong safety... ranked third on the team in total tackles (74) and in solo tackles (43)... managed to have 9.0 tackles-for-loss from the safety position... added 1.5 sacks... broke up five passes... forced one fumble... got senior season off to terrific start with eight tackles, seven unassisted tackles, two TFLs, one sack and one forced fumble at Notre Dame (Sept. 1)... recorded a season-high 12 tackles, including five solo tackles, a tackle-for-loss and a pass break-up at Virginia (Sept. 22)... had a pass break-up and a tackle-for-loss in the win over Clemson (Sept. 29)... broke up a pass, had one TFL, five solo tackles and seven total tackles in Tech's win vs. Army (Oct. 20)... was outstanding against Virginia Tech (Nov. 1)... had 10 total tackles, seven solos, 1.5 TFLs and a half-sack against the Hokies... produced six total tackles including five unassisted in the win vs. North Carolina (Nov. 17)... closed out college career in the Humanitarian Bowl (Dec. 31) with five solo tackles, eight total tackles and one pass break-up.

2006: Named to the all-Atlantic Coast Conference first team . . . Tech's third-leading tackler with 74 . . . Second on the team with three interceptions . . . Has 6.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups . . . Made history with a 97-yard interception return for a touchdown against Samford . . . That is the fourth-longest interception return in school history and the longest since Jeff Ford set the school record with a 102-yard return in 1969 . . . Added another interception, which he returned 20 yards, the following week against Troy . . . Had an interception in the end zone in Tech's 7-0 victory at North Carolina, helping the Jackets clinch the ACC Coastal Division title . . . Career-high nine tackles in win at NC State . . . Seven tackles and a fumble recovery against Duke.

2005: Totalled 13 tackles with one interceptions and two pass breakups in a backup role . . . Saw his most signficant action in the secondary in Tech's season-opening win over Auburn, when he played as the nickel back and then took over when starter Kenny Scott was injured . . . Had four tackles, with one tackle for loss, and a pass breakup against the Tigers . . . Had a key interception the following week to help Tech defeat North Carolina . . . With UNC at the Tech four-yard line in the fourth quarter, he grabbed an interception in the end zone to end the threat . . . One of the "gunners" on Tech's punt coverage unit who showed a knack for downing punts deep inside the 20-yard line . . . Changed jersey numbers to No. 4 after wearing No. 17 as a freshman.

2004: One of Tech's leading special teams tacklers as a true freshman last fall, when he collected 10 tackles . . . Recovered a fumble on kickoff coverage against Virginia Tech, setting up a Tech touchdown . . .
