Yellow Jackets and Utes meet in a bowl for the second time since 2005.
The first and only kicking specialist to come to Georgia Tech on scholarship since Paul Johnson's arrival... has a strong leg and makes kicks with great height and accuracy... a leading candidate to replace Scott Blair as the primary kicker.
2010 (True Freshman)
Saw action in two games... played briefly in the season opener vs. South Carolina State (Sept. 4)... handled all kickoff duties at Kansas (Sept. 11).
High School
Marist School... a two-time all-region selection... 2009 all-state, all-county and a member of the Atlanta Touchdown Club Metro All-Star Team... made 60 percent of his field goal attempts as a senior and 11-of-17 for his career... converted 88 of 89 career PAT attempts including 39-of-39 as a senior... had 48 touchbacks on kickoffs and averaged 42-plus yards punting... holds school record for the longest field goal (50 yards)... holds the school record for best punting average (41.4 ypa)... had 139 career kickoff attempts, including 78 that were touchbacks... earned a top 12 ranking from the prestigious Chris Sailer kicking camp in Las Vegas each of the last three years.
