A veteran senior leader who could emerge as one of the top defensive ends in the ACC... teams with junior Izaan Cross to give the Yellow Jackets a pair of solid returning starters at end... has played in 36 career games with 17 starts... has 9.0 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks... made the successful transition from tackle in the 4-3 in 2009 to end in the 3-4 in 2010... made great improvement between sophomore and junior seasons... began career playing behind future NFL defensive tackles Vance Walker and Darryl Richard... was arguably Tech's most outstanding performer of the spring of 2010... an intelligent player who has greatly improved his strength... a good student who is extremely active in the Atlanta community... graduated in December and is playing this season as a graduate student... serves on the Student Athlete Advisory Board where he chairs the community service committee.

2010 (Junior):
Started all 13 games... collected 52 tackles (24 solo tackles)... had 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks... led all Tech defensive linemen in tackles... recorded five tackles vs. NC State (Sept. 25)... had six tackles in the win at Wake Forest (Oct. 2)... registered a sack in the win over Virginia (Oct. 9)... had five tackles and a half-tackle for loss at Virginia Tech (Nov. 4)... recorded six tackles including two tackles for loss vs. Miami (Nov. 13)... erupted for a career-high 11 tackles (six solo tackles) and a tackle for loss vs. Air Force in the Independence Bowl.

2009 (Sophomore)
Played in 13 games and started four times... started the first three games of the season and the last game of the season... recorded 11 tackles, one tackle for loss, one fumble recovery, one interception and two pass break-ups... had a pair of tackles including a tackle for loss vs. Iowa in the FedEx Orange Bowl (Jan. 5)... recorded a pair of tackles and a pass break-up vs. Georgia (Nov. 28)... missed the Virginia game (Oct. 24) with an illness... recorded the first interception of his career when he picked off Tyrod Taylor of Virginia Tech (Oct. 17)... had a key fumble recovery in the Florida State game (Oct. 10)... recorded a career-high three tackles in the win over Clemson (Sept. 10).

2008 (Freshman)
A top back-up at defensive end... had 3.0 sacks, 2.0 tackles-for-loss and one forced fumble... his only tackle in the Duke game (Oct. 4) was a tackle-for-loss... enjoyed an outstanding game vs. Mississippi State (Sept. 20) when he recorded the first two sacks of his career and forced a Bulldog fumble... saw limited action at Boston College (Sept. 6) and at Virginia Tech (Sept. 13)... came off the bench for one tackle vs. Jacksonville State (Aug. 28)... played well in the spring and made four tackles in the T-Day Game.

First team all-state selection in Class 5-A by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association... selected Defensive MVP for District 3-5A...
