AT TECH: An athletic defensive end who was one of the ACC's most improved players in 2007... a two-year starter... an outstanding pass rusher... a tall and rangy defender with good speed... has a solid chance to play in the NFL... started 29 times in his career including 20 consecutive... played in 51 career games... selected to play in the Senior Bowl.

2007: Started all 13 games at defensive end... averaged a team-best 1.23 tackles-for-loss per game, which ranks tied for fifth in the ACC and 36th nationally... ranked tied for 78th nationally in sacks... has 16.0 total tackles-for-loss and 6.5 sacks... ranked second on the team with two quarterback hurries... recovered two fumbles and forced a fumble as well... recorded at least one tackle-for-loss in nine regular season games... could not have began the season much better... had three tackles-for-loss, 1.5 sacks, six total tackles including four solos, and recovered a fumble in Tech's win at Notre Dame (Sept. 1)... forced a fumble, had 2.5 TFLs and five total tackles vs. Boston College (Sept. 15)... sacked Clemson quarterback Cullen Harper for a loss of seven yards (Sept. 29)... recovered a Maryland fumble and rambled 32 yards for his second career touchdown (Oct. 6)... four of his six total tackles vs. Army (Oct. 20) were for losses... recorded a sack and a quarterback hurry vs. Virginia Tech (Nov. 1).

2006: Starting defensive end with seven tackles for loss, including three sacks . . . Had 54 tackles with one pass breakup and one forced fumble . . . Totalled 20 tackles, four tackles for loss three sacks and a forced fumble in Tech's four three games . . . Also had two tackles for loss and a pass breakup in win over Virginia . . . Career-high seven tackles against Georgia.

2005: Played primarily in passing situations, but started four games at left defensive end when Eric Henderson was injured . . . Collected 15 tackles, with one sack, one interception and four pass breakups . . . Had his best game in the Jackets' win at Duke, when he returned an interception 28 yards for a touchdown . . . Also had four tackles and a pass breakup against the Blue Devils . . . Had one of Tech's seven sacks in win at third-ranked Miami, sacking Kyle Wright for a 10-yard loss to back up the Hurricanes to their own nine-yard line . . .

2004: Earned playing time as a true freshman on special teams . . . Credited with five tackles on the season, including an eight-yard sack in Tech's victory over Syracuse in the Champs Sports Bowl.
