After serving as Georgia Tech's primary punter half of the 2012 season as a true freshman, Rodwell redshirted last season... made his collegiate debut in the fourth quarter of a tight game against Miami in 2012... a fundamentally solid punter with a strong leg... a good student who has made the Dean's List and the ACC Academic Honor Roll... has dropped nearly 30 pounds since arriving on campus.
2013 (sophomore): Redshirted.
2012 (true freshman): Played in six games... punted 13 times for an average of 39.7 yards... had two punts downed inside the 20... took over the primary punting duties in the Miami game (Sept. 22) after Sean Poole went down with an injury... served as the punter for the next five games... punted two times for an average of 43.5 yards vs. Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 29)... had a career-high five attempts, including a long of 52 yards, vs. BYU (Oct. 27).
High School: Deland HS... played for head coach Ryan Smith... averaged 43.8 yards per punt as a senior... earned all-state honors... rated #14 as a five-star punter by Kohl's Kicking... ranked 25th among ESPNU's top 100 kickers in 2011... also kicked for Deland and was 33-of-36 on PATs and four-of-six on field goals... booted the game-winner in overtime to beat Seabreeze, 20-17, in 2011... his career-long 45-yarder came in that game... reached FHSAA Class 6A state title game in 2009... team won district championships in 2010 and 2011... named to Honor Roll all four years and earned Deland's Scholar Athlete Award four times... earned school's 2010-11 Advisory Council's Academic Excellence Award.
