A talented and consistent punter for four years at Tech... enjoyed his best season as a senior... missed part of the 2012 season when he separated a shoulder trying to make a tackle against Miami... ranks seventh in Georgia Tech history for career punting average, eighth for career punt yards and tied for ninth in career punt attempts... a former walk-on who joined the program in 2009... played on Tech's baseball team in the spring of 2010.
2013 (senior): Was on the preseason watch list for the Ray Guy Award... spent most of the season with statistics that would have ranked among the ACC and NCAA leaders, but he did not have enough punt attempts to qualify for the lists... played in all 13 games and was the only Yellow Jacket to punt in 2013... punted just twice at Duke (Sept. 14) but one was a career-best 66-yarder for an average of 52.5 yards... booted two punts longer than 50 yards and three attempts downed inside the 20 vs. North Carolina (Sept. 21)... averaged 45.6 yards on four punt attempts with two longer than 50 yards and two downed inside the 20 vs. Virginia Tech (Sept. 26)... recorded a 57-yard punt at BYU (Oct. 12)... averaged 45.0 yards on two attempts at Virginia (Oct. 26)... rushed 12 yards for a first down on a fake punt vs. Pittsburgh (Nov. 2)... had three punts downed inside the 20 vs. Ole Miss in the Music City Bowl (Dec. 30).
2012 (junior): Served as the primary punter in 11 games... missed three games after suffering a shoulder injury while trying to make a tackle against Miami (Sept. 22)... punted 33 times for an average of 39.7 yards... had eight punts downed inside the 20 and five punts of 50 yards or longer... punted a season-high seven times for a 40.0 average, including a long of 50, in the season opener at Virginia Tech (Sept. 3)... averaged 47.0 yards on three attempts, including a career-high-tying 55-yarder vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)... had four attempts for an average of 45.2 yards, including three downed inside the 20 vs. Miami (Sept. 22)... booted a 55-yard punt vs. Florida State in the ACC Championship Game (Dec. 1).
2011 (sophomore): Played in all 13 games, serving as Tech's primary punter the entire season... ranked sixth in the ACC in punting average (39.7)... had two punts -- for 49 and 55 yards -- at Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 10)... the 55-yarder was downed at the Blue Raider 4... had a 54-yard punt vs. rival Georgia (Nov. 26)... punted a season-high five times vs. Utah in the Hyundai Sun Bowl... had punts of 53, 51 and 49 yards against the Utes.
2010 (redshirt freshman): Played in eight games and was the starting punter in six contests... took over primary punting duties for the Wake Forest game (Oct. 2) and remained in that role until hurting his knee in mid-November... hurt his knee stepping off a curb at a convenience store... punted 27 times for an average of 39.3 yards per attempt (32.3 yards net)... had five punts of 50 yards or longer with a long of 55 yards... eight of his punts were downed inside the 20... had punts of 48, 48, 51 and 53 yards in his first game as the starter, vs. Wake Forest (Oct. 2)... boomed a career-long 55-yard punt vs. Middle Tennessee State (Oct. 23)... two of his three punt attempts at Clemson were longer than 50 yards.
2009 (true freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Lawton Chiles High School in Tallahassee, Fla... played four seasons of football under coach John Spradlin... played kicker, punter and holder... also played four seasons of baseball... three-time all-conference and all-area... holds county record for longest punt (73 yards)... won numerous academic honors.
