2016 (Junior): Appeared in all 13 games as a linebacker and special-teams contributor … Made first three starts of his career versus Boston College (Sept. 3), Mercer (Sept. 10) and Duke (Oct. 29) ... Finished the season with 21 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, which were tied for seventh on the team … Also tied for third on the team with three special-teams tackles (two kick, one punt) … Came flying out of the gates with nine tackles and two tackles for loss over the first three games (two tackles and a TFL vs. Boston College, four tackles vs. Mercer, three tackles and a TFL vs. Vanderbilt) ... Recorded just one assisted tackle over the next four games before recording a career-high eight stops, including another TFL, against Duke … Set the tone for Georgia Tech’s 30-20 win at No. 18 Virginia Tech (Nov. 12) by forcing a fumble on the opening kickoff that was recovered by the Jackets and led to an early 3-0 lead that they would never relinquish … Finished with three total tackles in the win at VT ... Also came up with a big play on special teams in TaxSlayer Bowl win over Kentucky (Dec. 31), blocking a punt to set up a field goal at the first half that gave the Yellow Jackets a commanding 20-3 lead en route to a 33-18 victory.
