Was a reserve at wide receiver after playing the spring and August at cornerback... spent his freshman redshirt season practicing with the wide receivers... saw brief action in the Miami game (Nov. 20) and the Duke game (Oct. 4)... saw his first career action -- at wide receiver -- in the Mississippi State game (Sept. 20)... was plagued with a knee injury the first three weeks of the season... an athletic player with good size and versatility... came to Tech as a two-way standout in high school.

A two-way standout... member of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Super Southern 100... tabbed to the Macon Telegraph Top 50 in Georgia and the Florida Times-Union Super 24... PrepStar all-region selection... coached by Jeff Herron at Camden County High... had 42 tackles with two interceptions on defense and 15 receptions for 219 yards and two touchdowns on offense.
