Team Notes
… Tech has played 195 consecutive games without being shut out (last time: Oct. 18, 1997 vs. Florida State)
… True freshman Adam Gotsis started at DE in place of senior Izaan Cross, who is sick today (103-degree temperature); Cross saw his 37-game starting streak come to an end; Gotsis became the 16th different Yellow Jacket to make their first career start in 2012
… Tech has outscored opponents 104-78 in the first quarter this season
… The 50-yard field goal by Duke’s Martin was the longest by a Tech opponent since Nov. 20, 2010 when Duke’s Will Snyderwine kicked a 52-yarder
