Football Season Opener To Kick-Off At 1 p.m.

ATLANTA - Georgia Tech's 2009 football season opener Sept. 5 against Jacksonville State will kick-off at 1 p.m. in Bobby Dodd Stadium. Early-season game times for Tech and the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference were announced Thursday morning by the league office.

The Yellow Jackets' game against Jacksonville State will not be televised, but a webcast will be available on ESPN360.com.

Following the season opener, the Yellow Jackets' will have a short turnaround before playing the first of two consecutive nationally-televised Thursday night games. Tech will host Clemson Sept. 10 and travel to Miami Sept. 17 as part of the ESPN Thursday Night package.
