Georgia Tech To Host Kickoff Luncheon August 24

Doors at the Cobb Galleria open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch begins at noon.
THE FLATS - Georgia Tech will host its annual kickoff luncheon for season ticket holders August 24 at the Cobb Galleria before the Yellow Jackets kick off the 2012 season at Virginia Tech on September 1.
The Yellow Jacket football team reports to campus Friday, August 3, and head coach Paul Johnson will give his assessment of the first three weeks of practice and his comments on the upcoming season, the 120th year of Georgia Tech football.
Georgia Tech alum and NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough will be the keynote speaker. Kimbrough will talk about his time at Georgia Tech, the chance he had to walk in space and his love of Georgia Tech football. Also appearing will be distinguished Tech alum John Brock, CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises. Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich and team chaplain Derrick Moore will also provide remarks.
In addition, the Georgia Tech band, cheerleaders and Buzz will all be in attendance and available for photos with fans. Select Yellow Jacket players will be on hand for live interviews with emcee Wes Durham, the Voice of the Yellow Jackets.

Tickets are $40 per seat or a table of 10 can be purchased for $350.
