As the gates at one of college football’s most historic venues, Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field, are set to open for the 105th season of Yellow Jackets football, Georgia Tech athletics would like to share some of the improvements made around the facility this offseason, many of which were launched based on feedback from our fans.

1) All-New Georgia Tech Gameday App
Georgia Tech has launched an all-new Gameday App for the 2017 season. Fans can listen to FREE live audio of games and coaches shows, view live stats and video highlights, receive exclusive team content, customized alerts and more. The GT Gameday App is now available to update or download on Apple and Android devices.

*For fans with the older version, simply update the app for the newer version.

2) Expanded Wreckfest
Fans will enjoy an expanded Wreckfest for the 2017 season that now extends down part of Fowler Street to include fun and games for all ages. Wreckfest will feature live music, inflatables, food, games and fun for the entire family. Highlights for the Jacksonville State game include: a photo booth, rock climbing wall, live music by Georgia Tech alum Caryn Lee Carter and a gaming truck.

3) Concessions Upgrades & Expansions
Fans will enjoy the addition of six variety-driven concepts to Bobby Dodd Stadium this season, including:
– A local chef will serve up fresh cuisine using local products from inspired menus created by the Georgia Tech executive culinary team
-Spotted Trotter will feature local, premium sausages and hotdogs
-Patrons will be inspired by Bodacious Burgers: a gourmet, mouthwatering burger station
-Maui Wowi features unique iced and hot beverages to the game day atmosphere
-The “more than a popsicle” local favorite, King of Pops will offer creative flavor combinations
-The addition of Papa Johns at the Festival and Lower North sections

4) Buzz Memories Additions
The Buzz Memories program returns to Bobby Dodd Stadium for its fourth season. We are excited to add even more behind-the-scenes experiences for fans in addition to VIP tours, field passes & more. Fans can view upgrades by visiting ramblinwreck.com/memories via their iPhone or Android device.

Score a Postgame “Touchdown” on the Field
It’s your chance to score a touchdown on Historic Grant Field after the game! Catch a pass or run the ball over the goal line & get your photo on the field. One upgrade needed per person.

Cold Water Delivered to Your Seat
Cool off with an ice cold water delivered to your seat during the second quarter of the game! One upgrade per bottle of water.

Commemorative Game Ball
Don’t forget about your trip to Bobby Dodd Stadium! Pick-up this exclusive game ball! Quantities are limited each game. Fans must pick-up the game ball at the Buzz Memories tent inside gate 4.

5) Tailgate Guys on Tech Green
Tailgate Guys is moving into its fourth successful season as the official tailgate management company of Georgia Tech Athletics. Tailgate Guys is working with GTAA to provide the best possible service and fan experience. Due to fan feedback, we’ve been able to relocate this hospitality area with Tailgate Guys back to its original spot on Tech Green. For more information, please visit the website.

6) Enhanced Safety Measures
Georgia Tech Athletics has enhanced its safety and security measures this season for fans to safely enjoy their experience inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. This season, security has adopted a new policy of the use of magnetic wanding at all the entry gates into the stadium. Please make sure that you remove all items such as cell phones, keys or other metal objects from your pockets while being scanned. Also plan accordingly and give yourself extra time to get into the stadium.
