Saturday Night Traffic Advisory

Oct. 22, 2015

THE FLATS – Fans attending Georgia Tech’s Saturday night game against Florida State at Bobby Dodd Stadium are encouraged to plan accordingly with multiple Midtown and Downtown events expected to impact traffic and parking.

Purchasing a parking pass in advance, for a low as $10, is advised. All football parking lots open at 7 a.m. on Saturday. Click here to purchase.

Saturday’s game is the Yellow Jackets’ annual Homecoming game and is sold out. WreckFest festivities begin at 4 p.m. on Callaway Plaza with Yellow Jacket Alley at 4:30 p.m.

In addition to our 7 p.m. kickoff, other events in Midtown/Downtown on Saturday include a Taylor Swift concert at the Georgia Dome, the Piedmont Park Arts Festival and the Red Bull Soapbox Derby on North Avenue and Ponce De Leon Avenue.

For those without a parking pass, MARTA is the best option. Bobby Dodd Stadium can be accessed via the North Avenue station, and service will be extended later in the evening to assist postgame riders.

For up-to-the-minute information on traffic and information, follow @GTAthletics on Twitter and download the GT Gameday app for updates before, during and after the game.
