CHICK-FIL-A BOWL RELEASES 700 PREMIUM TICKETS

ATLANTA - To meet local demand, the Chick-fil-A Bowl has just released 700 tickets not previously available for public sale.
This allotment represents the final remaining tickets to the Dec. 31 Chick-fil-A Bowl between No. 14 Georgia Tech and defending national champion LSU before the game reaches its 12th straight sellout.
The tickets being offered are premium sideline locations in the Club Level and Lower Level seating areas. Officials are directing ticket buyers to the Bowl's Web site -- www.Chick-fil-ABowl.com -- or to Ticketmaster.com for access to the added ticket inventory.
"Georgia Tech sold through their allotment so quickly that many fans were unable to purchase tickets," said Gary Stokan, Chick-fil-A Bowl president. "We're trying to do what we can to help meet the local need for tickets."
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is nearing its 12th consecutive sellout and expects this small number of tickets to sell quickly to local Georgia Tech and LSU fans.
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is the longest-running rivalry series of top-ranked teams from the ACC and SEC and is recognized as one of the most competitive bowl games in college football. The Chick-fil-A Bowl owns exclusive rights to the first selection in the ACC -- after the BCS -- and will set records this year with its 12th straight sellout and an all-time high $6.01 million in total team payout. The Chick-fil-A Bowl is the highest-attended non-BCS game in the country and leads all bowl games in charitable and scholarship contributions.
