(as of August 17, 2011)
GAME DAY ASSISTANCE: For those customers that have been unable to print or locate their parking passes for the game, you may call the Georgia Tech Game Operations Department until 12 noon Thursday (404.894.0696), email gtparking@lanierparking.com or visit the Lanier Parking Base Camp inside Gate 1 of Russ Chandler Stadium (baseball) on gameday for assistance.
1. Click here for a map of the parking areas offered by the Athletic Association for the 2011 football season.
2. Season-long spots are still available within some Georgia Tech lots. Note that several of our lots have limited availability and will only be considered for customers achieving a minimum A-T point threshold. To purchase a season-long parking permit, you must contact Cheryl Watts (cwatts@athletics.gatech.edu / 404.894.0696) in the game operations department. No season permits are available online. Season parking passes for single, personal vehicles range in price from $175-225 for all lots run by the Athletic Association. There will be additional charges assessed for those vehicles which cannot fit into a standard parking space, including those which tow items into parking areas. There are no full-season RV passes remaining for sale at this time.
Please note that, following the renewal deadline in April, we began filling our parking lots first based on availability, then on an A-T priority point order, and finally on a first-come, first-served basis. All orders placed after the renewal deadline have been filled on a first-come, first-served basis, within the confines of the minimum A-T point threshold.
4. All orders for single-game parking passes should be made online by clicking 2011 SINGLE GAME PARKING. If a lot does not sell out online prior to game day, patrons may pay upon arrival for the A, B and C Decks. No parking may be purchased on gameday at the Student Center and W24 Central Campus locations
5. Full-season RV parking is sold out for 2011, but RVs may park on a per-game basis along Tech Parkway beginning at 5 p.m. Friday (or, in the case of Thursday night games, 5 p.m. Thursday). This area is controlled by the Georgia Tech Parking & Transportation Department, and costs are $30 per weekend. For the UGA game, fans may begin parking as early as 5 p.m. Wednesday. ALL single-game RV parking along Tech Parkway is first-come, first-served. There are NO pre-sales for RV parking in this area.
5b. Fans may also wish to consider RV parking in Atlantic Station, which has bus shuttles operating from three hours prior to the game until one hour after the game. Pickup/dropoff locations include the entrance to the Atlantic Station designated gameday parking area and along 3rd Street (between Spring and West Peachtree Streets). The stadium is two blocks from this dropoff point. For more information on this RV parking location, please visit the Atlantic Station RV Parking Information Page
6. Reserved handicapped parking areas are available along Cherry Street (off North Avenue) and along the east end of Ferst Drive, leading back toward the Student Center lots. This parking area is labeled W01 Reserved (in orange) on the 2011 football parking map. These spots are available on a season-long basis for $175 apiece. A valid handicap permit is required for the purchase and use of this area.
Single-game ADA parking is available along Ferst Drive adjacent to the Student Center (highlighted in green on the map) and may only be purchased day of game at entry. A valid handicap permit is required to park in this area, and the cost is $20/game, which must be paid in cash.

FEE STRUCTURE
|
COST
A tiered price structure for the 2011 football season has been established. This change accounts for the increases in space rental the GTAA is incurring from Georgia Tech's Parking Auxiliary. The tiered structure also accounts for the individual lot proximity to the stadium and the quantity of spaces available in each lot. Please see the box to the right for this fee structure. The 2011 Football Parking Map also identifies the different lot locations within the tiers.
LOT CHANGES
The AMC Lot is expected to be inaccessible due to construction on the basketball facility until late fall, 2012. Also, the E41 Ferst Drive Lot has been removed from Georgia Tech Athletics' inventory of lots. Finally, the parking area outside of the Student Center has been renamed the Ferst Center Lot and is no longer a part of the Student Center Parking area. The 2011 Football Parking Map has been updated to include these changes.
WELCOME BACK RETURNEES
Everyone who purchased a season parking pass from GTAA in 2010 is guaranteed parking in one of our lots as long as it is renewed by the April 15 deadline. Please read the "Guaranteed Renewal Parking" note below for more information.
GUARANTEED RENEWAL PARKING
Parking is guaranteed to any patron who (a) renews in the same location, (b) meets the guaranteed renewal point for that lot (shaded limits listed in the table on the right side of this webpage), and (c) renews by the April 15 deadline. The goal is for those patrons with the highest number of AT points to have the best parking available on gameday. To accomplish this, point limits have been set within each lot so that we can guarantee parking for those returning patrons.
Anyone wishing to renew in their lot for 2011 who does not meet the guaranteed renewal point level may still be able to park in that lot, based on point priority and availability.
|
ESTIMATED LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
All parking assignments will be completed according to A-T priority points. Please use the chart on the right to make requests based on A-T priority points total.
Please note that meeting the estimated A-T points requirement does not guarantee parking in these areas, only that you may qualify to park there.
REQUESTING PARKING RENEWAL IN THE SAME LOCATION
To request parking in the same GTAA-operated location as 2010, you must pay the parking fee by the April 15 deadline. If we find that we will be unable to meet your renewal request based on your A-T point priority and lot availability, we will contact you in June or July to discuss alternate options. If you decide not to park with us, you will be reimbursed for your parking payment.
Please remember if you meet the guaranteed renewal point threshold, your parking location is guaranteed if you renew by the deadline. If you do not meet the guaranteed renewal point threshold and would like to list alternate locations, you may do so on the application form or online.
REQUESTING A NEW PARKING PASS OR CHANGE IN PARKING LOCATION
To request a new parking pass or change in parking location, list your preferences on the application form or in the space provided online when you submit your payment prior to the April 15 deadline. Please note the estimated minimum A-T points requirements when you list your preferences to assist us as we work through the requests. If one of your preferences is available, we will place you in that location for 2011. If not, we will contact you during June or July to discuss the options available to you. If you decide not to park with us, you will be reimbursed for your parking payment.
REMOVING A PARKING PASS
To remove a parking pass from your account, contact Cheryl Watts in the Game Operations department. Please note that we will remove any parking passes that are not renewed and paid for by the April 15 deadline to make room for those patrons requesting new and/or additional parking passes. If you have multiple parking passes and wish to remove only one or a portion of your order, please note which pass(es) you wish to remove when returning the renewal application or note online in the space provided.
ADA PARKING
Everyone who parked in ADA parking areas in 2010 are guaranteed parking in the same area for 2011 if they (a) renew by the April 15 deadline, and (b) send a copy of their ADA sticker (with expiration date) to Cheryl Watts (cwatts@athletics.gatech.edu or FAX to 404.894.7128) in the Game Operations department. GTAA will not remove an ADA parking pass unless you neglect to submit both of these items by the deadline. Once this date has passed, we will begin filling the remaining spaces in these areas with other ADA patrons that have requested to park in these locations, and for the Techwood and East Lot locations, meet the minimum points requirement. Disabled patrons that park in the East Lot ADA area will need to clearly identify their desire to park in the ADA reserved area on their renewal application.
RV PARKING
One of the major goals going into the off-season was to find a lot capable of serving as our primary RV lot for the 2011 season and beyond, and with the help of the Georgia Tech Parking & Transportation Department, we have found what we've been looking for.
All RV customers who parked in the AMC Lot in 2010 may also renew their pass, but please note that you are renewing in the new W04E RV Lot. These renewals are also due by April 15.
Once the renewal deadline has passed, we will begin the process of filling empty spaces within the W04E lot with any new customers that have requested RV parking. All potentially new RV customers may request RV parking on the application/renewal form or online, and all of these requests will be processed based on AT priority point order after June 1.
Please note that there will be NO general car parking in the W04E lot on gamedays, except those driving a car in place of their RV. Any other personal vehicles remaining in this lot the morning of the game will be towed since the W04E lot will be strictly used for RVs only. This is the only way that we can ensure all of our RVs can park in the new area.
QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE:
What does it mean if my current parking says "Gold," "White" or "Value"?
This means that you are currently not assigned a space in any lot, but are rather in a "holding" area for lots in this tier AND any lower tier. Your lot may have either gone away, or you may not qualify for automatic renewal in the lot that you parked in for the 2010 football season. You may elect to "renew" in this holding lot, and we will follow up with you in June or July to discuss the options available to you. You may also wish to write-in your recommendations. We will be happy to go ahead and place you into your recommended lot, should it be available after the April 15 deadline.
