Hello, My Name is ... Ollie Schniederjans

Feb. 20, 2015

THE FLATS – Ollie Schniederjans ascended to No. 1 in the world amateur rankings last summer on the heels of a stellar junior season in which he was named a first-team All-American, won five collegiate events including the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and played for the U.S. team in the Palmer Cup.

The reigning ACC Player of the Year, Schniederjans was a finalist last spring for both the Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus Awards, and he is a two-time All-American and two-time All-ACC selection. In 47 career events, has 20 top-10 finishes, including 13 top-5s and six wins. With a 70.87 career scoring average, he is challenging the Tech career mark of 70.69 set by Bryce Molder.

Schniederjans has been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll four times, and to the ACC All-Academic Golf team twice. He came to Tech as one of the nation’s top junior players, graduating early from Harrison High School and entering Tech in January of 2011.
